Where your order ships from, how long it takes, and what postage costs. Shipping to the United States and Canada is free from $100 USD, or $140 CAD when you pay in Canadian dollars. Every other destination pays postage, at every order value.
Last reviewed: September 6, 2026. Checkout is the authority. It calculates the exact postage for your address and quantity before you pay, and nothing recalculates it afterwards.
Orders do not ship from Montreal. They leave the fulfilment centre that serves your destination, so the country a parcel departs from depends on where it is going.

An order is fulfilled from the single warehouse that serves its destination. You cannot pick a different one, and an order is not split across two countries.
Orders are normally handed to the carrier within one to four business days of payment clearing. That is section 19 of the Terms of Service and Sale, and it is the commitment that governs.

The US territories priced with Alaska and Hawaii are Puerto Rico, Guam, the US Virgin Islands, American Samoa and the Northern Mariana Islands. The 5 to 12 day group is Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia and Laos. Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines are quoted with most of Europe at 8 to 16 days.
These windows are wide on purpose. They are written to hold through December peak and a customs hold without being rewritten twice a year, which is worth more than a tight number that is wrong every January.
Free shipping to the United States and Canada starts at $100 USD, or $140 CAD on a cart billed in Canadian dollars. The remote zones are in it: Alaska, Hawaii, the US territories, Yukon, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut. Every international destination pays postage, at every order value.
The threshold is measured on the goods subtotal, before any discount code and before shipping and tax. Below it, and everywhere outside the United States and Canada, postage is a flat amount for your destination plus an amount per module. Nothing is added as a percentage of the subtotal, and on an international order there is no subtotal above which postage stops rising. All figures below are US dollars.

Remote is Alaska, Hawaii, the US territories, Yukon, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut. The third row covers most of the EU along with Japan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Mexico, New Zealand and the UAE. The fourth adds Croatia, Cyprus, Slovenia, South Africa, Morocco, Jordan, Ghana and Angola. Europe is not one rate: Romania sits a tier above its neighbours, and Luxembourg and Malta three above, which is what the carrier charges rather than a choice we made. The last row is the fallback for a destination we have not priced on its own, and it is set high so a genuinely remote address does not cost us money to reach. Oman is in it today. If your country is not named here, the checkout quotes its exact postage before you pay, and that quote is the price.
Paying in Canadian dollars changes the postage but not the product price. The postage is converted from the US figure at a rate we store and refresh about monthly, plus a margin that absorbs the drift between refreshes. Product prices are never converted: the Canadian price of a module is set on its own, as its own decision. So is the free-shipping threshold. $140 CAD is close to $100 USD at today’s rate, but it is a number we set rather than a number we calculate, and your cart is measured against it in Canadian dollars.
Orders inside the United States and inside Canada are fulfilled in-country. Nothing crosses a border, so there are no duties or customs fees waiting on delivery.
Everything else ships DDU or DAP. Import duties, taxes, tariffs and customs handling fees are set by your own country, billed to you by the carrier, and are not in the checkout total. There is no delivered-duty-paid option at checkout, so please budget for them.
We declare accurate contents and values on every customs form. We will not mark a parcel as a gift, understate its value, or describe it as something it is not.
If your address is in the European Union and your order subtotal is under $165 USD, checkout sends you to our Lectronz store rather than taking the order here. The threshold is measured on the subtotal alone, before shipping and tax, because that is how the EU import scheme measures it.
The reason is the doorstep bill. Lectronz collects the VAT at the point of sale under the EU import scheme, so the parcel clears customs and arrives. Order direct instead and the courier pays the VAT for you, then holds the parcel until you pay it back plus a handling fee. Above $165 the scheme does not apply, there is nothing to gain, and we ship direct.
We do not ship to the United Kingdom from this site. UK orders go through our Elecrow store, and our Lectronz store ships only within the EU.
Norway is not in that scheme either. The EU import scheme does not cover the Norwegian VOEC regime, so Norway ships direct at any order value, as do Iceland, Liechtenstein and Switzerland.
A short list of destinations is not served. Five are broad Canadian trade restrictions. The rest are commercial calls about parcel loss rates, customs friction and active conflict, and they are reviewed every quarter against sanctions announcements and carrier service notices.
The country list at checkout is the authoritative one, and it is checked before the cart is priced. A blocked destination is rejected at the address step, before any payment is taken, rather than accepted and cancelled later.
Once a parcel is handed over, the tracking number appears on the order lookup page. You need the order number and the email address you used.

On a domestic shipment, risk of loss passes to you on delivery. On an international shipment, and except where mandatory law says otherwise, it passes when we hand the parcel to the carrier. Any insurance you want beyond that point is yours to arrange. That is section 18 of the Terms.
If there is a discrepancy in your shipping details we may contact you on the phone number or email you gave us. If an order ships and is returned to us, we will try to reach you and allow two weeks for a reply. After that the order is marked abandoned and no refund is issued. That is section 19.
